I’m hoping you can answer it for me since you seem to be pretty knowledgeable about gardening. What’s the best time of day to water plants? If you had some insight I would greatly appreciate it. Reply Ray March 22, 2018 at 2:00 pm Hi Elitehort, Normally the best time to water shrubs and lawns is early morning, say between 5 -6 am. This way the soil has time to dry some before night to minimize development of fungus. Trees however would ideally be watered on evenings. Whenever you have a new garden installed, you may need intensive water for the first 30 days. Reply Lloyd's Landscaping December 15, 2017 at 3:27 am Hi there, Great tips by the way and thank you. If you had some insight I would greatly appreciate it. Reply Ray Rueda March 22, 2018 at 2:04 pm Hi, Yes, you may use pine boards (regular – not treated) for your raised garden beds; however they will rot within 5 years. Other options might be Cedar, Juniper, Redwood or Yew. Thanks, Ray Reply Leave a Reply to Elitehort Cancel reply Your email address will not be published.
